Accessories: 7x50 Straight-Thru Finder

The Burgess Optical 7x50 Straight-Thru, Inverting Finder is a great replacement for the small finder supplied with many telescopes.

The 7x50 finder has fully coated lenses. The objective lens is mounted in a helical focuser assembly. The finder is focused by losening a retaining ring behind the objective lens cell and turning the objective lens cell until focus is reached. The plossel-type eyepiece includes a simple cross-hair for centering your target.

The 7x50 finder does not include a correct-image prism, as in our 8x50 Right-Angle, Correct Image Finder. The image through the finder is inverted.

Available accessories include a two-screw, spring-loaded mount with a dovetail base. The dovetail base is the standard Synta/Orion style base. The mount comes with the dovetail bracket that attaches to the telescope.
