08-16-06 Burgess Optical has received the first shipment of the TMB Paragon 40mm eyepiece. All the availble stock has been shipped to those who pre-ordered the eyepieces and to our dealers.

06-08-09 Burgess Optical is planning on attending the Apollo Rendezvous Telescope Convention & Star Party on June 16-17, 2006. The Apollo Star Party is presented by the Miami Valley Astronomical Society in Ohio.
04-19-06 High Point Scientific has some Vireo 8x25 Roof Prism Binoculars in stock and ready for shipping. These binoculars are no longer in production and High Point has them on sale.

04-16-06 Burgess Optical wants to thank everyone who purchased the Garage Sale 6mm Planetary Eyepiece. Although this version did not meet our high standard set by the other sizes of Planetary Eyepieces, it is still a good eyepiece. The Garage Sale version of the 6mm Planetary eyepiece is sold out and is no longer available. We will be introducing a fully featured 6mm Planetary Eyepieces after the 2.5mm, 7mm, and 8mm Planetary Eyepieces are introduced.

Model BV24 Binoviewer03-12-06 Pictures of the Burgess Optical BV24 Binoviewer have been added. The BV24 binoviewer comes with a case, two eyepieces, and an OCA.
02-26-06 Burgess Optical returns from the 2006 Winter Star Party. The Planet Hunter 80mm scope and the new Model 24 Binoviewer were shown.
01-22-06 The Burgess Optical web site now has e-mail ordering for those who live outside the United States and do not have ready access to one of our dealers.. Send an e-mail to Burgess Optical listing what you want to order, and Burgess Optical will reply with an invoice with a link to a secure ordering site.

01-18-05 On January 21, 2006, Burgess Optical was in Boiling Springs, NC, at BobFest, which is the 14th Annual Regional Meeting of Amateur Astronomers conducted by Cleveland County Astronomical Society.

01-02-06 Burgess Optical announces a new line of filters, both color filters and a broadband nebula filter. The Broadband Nebula Filter makes a fine light pollution filter and is offered at an unbelieveably low introductory price of $29.
